Teacher
A teacher, formally an educator, is a person who helps students to acquire knowledge, competence or virtue.

Teacher-Centred Vs Learner Centred
In a teacher-centered classroom, teachers choose what the students will learn, how the students will learn, and how the students will be assessed on their learning. In contrast, student-centered learning requires students to be active, responsible participants in their own learning and with their own pace of learning. A teacher-centered approach is an approach that encourages students to completely focus on their educator, while the learner-centered approach is an approach where both the educators and the students share an equal focus.

Teacher: Qualities
There are four teacher qualities considered to be essential: i) thorough knowledge, ii) skills in effectively conveying knowledge, iii) the ability to engage and motivate learners, and iv) an honest concern for students ' wellbeing.

Teaching
A teaching method comprises the principles and methods used by teachers to enable student learning. These strategies are determined partly on the subject matter to be taught and partly by the nature of the learner.

The basic requirements of the teaching: i) All three variables of teaching; ii) Professionalism; iii) Suitable environment; iv) Teacher-student relationship; v) Student's discipline; vi) Teacher's devotion to teaching, and also, on the other hand, student's devotion to learning.

Teaching: Characteristics
Six characteristics of teaching that help students be successful are: i) Active learning techniques; ii) Great learning environment; iii) Clear communication; iv) Good relationship between teacher and student; v) Critical thinking; vi) Problem-solving.

Teaching: Objectives
a) To bring desired changes in students' attitudes. b) To shape behavior and conduct. c) Acquisition of knowledge. d) To improve the learning skills of students. e) Formation of belief. f) To become a social & efficient member of society.
